An Overcomer's Journey from the Effects of Abuse through Scriptural Prayers

"That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wonderous works." Psalm 26:7

My story is not an unusual one. I have met many Christians and Non-Christians who were abused sexually, psychologically, and physically by relatives, friends or their spouse. The purpose of this book is to provide a resource to overcome these struggles. First, I tell my story so people will know they are not the only one to have suffered some of what I found to be shameful experiences. My testimony serves to shine the light in dark places (II Peter 1:19). Second, I want to provide real help: the word of God. "For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit...and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Freedom From Bondage Through Scriptural Prayers: From Never Feeling Hunger to Abundance

"And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it [is] the gift of God." Ecclesiastes 3:13

The purpose of this book is to share what I learned through revelation of the Word of God to overcome an eating disorder. The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA), describes what I endured as a Non-Specific Eating Disorder. Nearly fifty years of abuse had an effect on my mental and physical health. One of the effects of abuse was that I never felt hunger, and had no desire to eat. Feelings of guilt and unworthiness produced restrictions in every area of my life. This book contains Bible verses used to create scripture based prayers. I add my name to make the prayers personal. Blank pages in this book are provided for the reader to create their own scritural prayers. Lord willing this book shall bring revelation, light and healing in this area to many others.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” Romans 10:17
